A Lesson for You All - Random Acts of Kindness

Today was a usual day for me on the forums until I randomly decided to friend request someone because of how much I liked there username and because they needed help I couldn't give. Little did I know I would be gifted in return! With the message saying "Thank you for befriending me!" I would like to say thank YOU Chickadee183. Because to taught me an important lesson. A truly nice person does good when nobodies watching. Thank you for that.

In the beginning, it started as usual with flamethrower31 denying every claim and screen capture made of his true identity. Someone had quoted the picture I'm about to show you. But of course, in classic style ace/flame edited his post saying that the guy had "photoshopped" his quote of flame. What did flamethrower31 say BEFORE he edited the post? Look below:



Ok. The proof is in the pudding with that one. Both trolling accounts, Nashville_Kittens and AceFlamingo23 were banned. 2 accounts banned. Funny flamethrower31 has been banned TWICE. Soon to be a 3rd time if we all get our way. (Work with us Mods work with us) Why would you be stupid enough to even post that Flame/Ace/Nashville? Tsk tsk tsk. Trolls never learn.

But. Then it happened. He flipped off his rocker. Please be warned that the following pictures are full of utter fail. And strange, awkward animal noises.

Yep. You heard it. Our worst fear is back on the forums on a totally new account. I caught him before he slyly edited his post that sneaky scoundrel. Still not convinced? Look at what the thread was about.




Soon after I busted the fiend with my Screen Capture picture I refreshed the page to immediately find that, surprise surprise, he had edited that same post with a new PSN name. Oh Ace, when will you learn.

The others were good, but Stephanie immediately caught my eye and shimmered a unique quality among the pictures of the others! A down-to-earth coolness that seemed to compliment the cute addition of freckles! Her traits are: Athletic, Brave, Perfectionist, Artistic, Genius. Extreme Makeover Sim Edition - Feedback!

I've been working on this makeover assignment for some time now, here is the description:

"Meet Lauren Fairchild. She a recent college grad who's on the prowl for a job. She has many interviews lined up, but with nothing to wear. She would like something nice to wear to these interviews that is also casual. She would also like you to use a little bit of her favorite color, Spiceberry."

After testing many business casual outfits with the color Spiceberry (It's not the prettiest color!), I came up with this finished product!

I've been banned. Loosen up EA! - A Rant

I have been banned for 72 hours. I sent my friend 0hDarling an email and she announced my ban to the forums. All I can say is, nice work EA. Ban all of your true and dedicated members. It took you an enormous amount of time to ban Nashville_Kittens/AceFlamingo. Who called me a communist and insulted me because of my political opinion. It's fine. I'll just come back in 3 days the same old Smoz! I gotta admit I saw a ban in my future, but I didn't care, I was having some fun! Why am I banned you ask? Well let's just say the other day on the forums I snapped and got a little crazy. Creating a completely OT thread that lasted for 27 pages. Major Fail Moderators. What I found comical is the way they moved all of CloverStarDropper's random threads to the "Create A World" section for some unknown reason, while mine remained on the General Discussion. Another contributing factor is the cranky old Zolt. A complete stick in the mud. When I noticed Zolt's post to a help thread, his reply totally averted the original topic. I couldn't help but post a humorous response with a picture of Mario jumping into the abyss with words that say "YOU FAIL". He then preceded to state the rules to me and called me a troll. It was a joke Zolt, sheesh. He was the only person on that thread that found my post rude. During my ban I've made the decision to patch up some bad relationships with other simmers and make things right. All the others actually thought it was funny! On a different note, -It's Folk Art- WILL resume after my ban is through!

Seven Deadly Sins - A Few First Impressions

I've been a total Seven Deadly Sins fan from the start of Cycle 1. The whole concept of the modeling competition was interesting and contained oodles of originality! Not to mention the great and very talented shots that were turned in week after week!
Now I've decided to come and share a few of my opinions on some of the shots for assignment one. The models assignment was to appropriately display their sim's sin creatively.
LuxuriantLady87 - Sloth

I really liked this shot for some reason. The image is bright and pops while still portraying the sin (sloth). The environment and set the sim was placed in was perfect for a "sloth". Though I feel as if a little editing could have gone a loooong way!
Amazing1239 - Greed

I thought Amazing1239 had thought up a really good concept for this shot. She stated that the sim dressed up as a homeless beggar just to make quick cash. When really she was a very rich sim who had many amenities. Good work!

I expect many more shining shots in this competition, and believe me, I won't hesitate to share.
